I am Akiri Venkata Prabhanda Sahithi, currently a student in the Master’s program at the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Texas A&M University joined in the Fall of 2022, expected to graduate in May 2024. I completed my Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka in India with a CGPA of 8.56 out of 10 in 2020.

I am currently working as a Senior Grader for the course 'Cybersecurity Law & Policy' under Prof. Paula deWitte for a class size of 101 students from both Undergraduate and Graduate departments of Computer Science and Cybersecurity. Developed Hadoop Data Pipelines incorporating ingestion, transformation, and provisioning steps for efficient data storage and processing of dependent data in Hadoop Eco-system. Managed entire process of troubleshooting, addressing new requirements, and migrating the Workout Prospector reports submitted to Freddie Mac(government-sponsored enterprise). Designed logical and physical data models for 2600 attributes to ensure consistency using Erwin. Developed Tableau dashboards to visualize data reports by stakeholders involved for 6 reports. Facilitated Scrum ceremonies for a mature Agile team and collaborated with Business Analysts and Product Owners to understand new requirements and updates on existing reports impacting 34 stakeholders. Leveraged data from multiple sources to extract and transform large-scale data to produce relevant business metrics, to report loan modification aspects to external entities for delinquent loans. Contributed towards data migration from Oracle and Teradata databases to Exadata for centralized data staging to reduce data redundancy. Utilized Control-M to create and modify 47 jobs for scheduling report generation and delivery. Configured and troubleshot FTS routes for streamlined external reporting involving 28 reports. Spearheaded the implementation of pilot reports in the target state framework and guided the team to adapt through comprehensive knowledge transfer sessions.

BigData Security Enhancement: Improved the security of HDFS files in Avro and Parquet formats by customizing Apache libraries and implementing file encoding/decoding algorithms to prevent sensitive data leakage. Storage-level Entitlement Service: Developed a customized and confidential algorithm for HDFS files in Apache Hadoop ecosystem by extending the standard library. The Entitlement Service determines data access based on the roles and access levels of the client, as well as data attributes such as data type, sensitivity status, and partial access patterns.
